Stuart Clarke is a vocal expert who understands the demands on performers today, and the vital role voice training plays in developing and sustaining vocal range and strength, night after night. He has helped thousands of vocalists to be the best possible version of themselves through the highest level service and support. Stuart is a regular guest lecturer on vocal pedagogy for the Contemporary Music Course at Massey University in Wellington and has conducted workshops at MAINZ and the Waikato Institute of Technology. Alongside teaching in New Zealand, Stuart travels overseas for teacher training in America and Europe (Ireland).
Major label contemporary artists, singer/songwriters and internationally recognised lead musical theatre performers all trust him to take good care of their voices, develop their techniques, and bring out all of the style and artistry needed to take on their career. Some of Stuart’s students have gone on to open shows for artists, such as Ed Sheeran and Mariah Carey, won NZ Music Awards, been finalists in shows such as NZ’s Got Talent and worked with famous artists such as Babyface and Randy Jackson (American Idol).
Stuart has studied voice in Los Angeles under legendary vocal coach for the stars Seth Riggs (Voice coach for Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Josh Groban, Michael Jackson etc) and became the first and only teacher qualified to teach the Speech Level Singing method in New Zealand (A method used by over 120 GRAMMY Winners). Stuart is also an authorised Vocology In Practice instructor (VIP is a global network of elite voice professionals), an International Voice Teacher Of Mix (IVTOM) accredited teacher, and his unique teaching style is in-demand nationwide in New Zealand and overseas.
